Recently there is an event logged in our site:

Which is an user has disabled the “The?Membership?setting?Anyone can register.” option.

    ClientIP:?xxx
    Severity:?500
    Object:?system-setting
    EventType:?disabled
    UserAgent:?Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/131.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Edg/131.0.0.0
    CurrentUserRoles:?administrator
    Username:?xxx
    CurrentUserID:?22

We would like to find out which user enabled it and when he/she did it.

We tried searching by using the following keywords but all returned no results. Not even the above log appeared while we searched but it is there when we go back page by page…

    “The?Membership?setting?Anyone can register

    “Enabled”

    “system setting”

May I know is the search function faulty or we have been using it the wrong way?

Thank you for using our plugin @webbuddysg and sorry for the late reply. Most of the team were on holiday and finally we are catching up with the backlog.

The plugin’s search functionality works on events’ metadata and not on the “standard text”. So in the case of this event you can search for the event ID. For example, when you check the list of activity log event IDs for WordPress you will see that the plugin uses event ID 6001 to keep a log of when that setting is enabled or disabled.

So all you need to do is search for event ID 6001 and you will find all the occurrences of when that setting was enabled or disabled.

That should do the trick. Can you please let us know when you manage with the above information?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
