• Hey SiteSearch360,

I wanted to share my experience in the hope that you can help me out. A while back, I was advised to use your script for search functionality on my site. Everything worked fine until I decided to remove it. Now, no matter what I do, the search bar just won’t go away! I’m confident that with your help, you’ll be able to identify where the .js is being served from.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    • I deleted my SiteSearch360 account, thinking that would resolve it—but no luck.
    • I used a string finder tool to search every corner of my site for any trace of your code and came up empty.
    • Finally, I discovered your .js script had been added via Code Snippets. I deleted it from there, but the search bar is still front and center on my pages.

At this point, I’m out of ideas. I even considered hiding it with CSS, but that feels like a Band-Aid solution. I’d much rather remove it entirely, as I don’t know where else it might be lingering across my network.

I’d really appreciate your guidance on how to properly remove the script and get everything cleared up. It’s been frustrating, and I’m looking forward to resolving this with your help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,
    Edmund

    Hi Edmund,

We are doing our best to help you remove the code from your website in our support channel. Aside from the plugin itself, you have taken steps to manually integrate our code on your website, and it is impossible for us to tell where exactly that was done within your files.

Your project has been completely deleted, let us know if there is anything else we could help with.
