• Hi there,

Your plugin’s feature, Combine JS, does not work. (Note: trying it for the first time).

When enabled, our usual JS files load (uncombined) PLUS your plugin adds a new JS file to our waterfall with the following path:

    https:// www. mysite. com /wp-content / cache / wpfc-minified / randomcode.js

Click here to view our website’s actual waterfall when Combine JS is enabled with your plugin.

Also, why does your plugin assign the file path name “/wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified/….js” when it should actually say “/wp-content/cache/wpfc-combined/….js“? Using the word “minified” does not belong with JS files that have been “combined.” Utterly confusing!

    Fix appreciated.

The combine js feature combines the js files which exist in the header. The combine js plus feature combines the js sourced which exist in the footer.

Please explain better. What do you mean JS files in the header and JS files in the footer?

I created a staging site and activated both features (combine JS files in the header and footer) but our site’s files are still not being combined. Yes, I cleared all cache after activating both features.

In short, your Combine JS files features do not work at this point.

Also, you haven’t addressed the second part of my inquiry (i.e., why are you using the term “minified” when it should be “combined“?).

you are using another optimization plugin. please disable it. and clear all cache.

Also, you haven’t addressed the second part of my inquiry (i.e., why are you using the term “minified” when it should be “combined“?).

    A very unnecessary question.

The only performance plugin we use is Perfmatters. I deactivated it, cleared all cache, and now our waterfall is worse.

Now, your plugin features (i.e., combine JS files in the header and footer) are creating many “minified” JS files.

Crazy. Please revisit your plugin and fix it. It ain’t working. JS files are not being combined. If you believe it is, please send me sample websites where all JS files are properly combined.

Also, using the term “minified” for so called “combined” JS files ain’t right either.

    Cheers!

The js source are combined. if there is a inline js source between two js sources, they are not combined.

I can’t read your image. Please post a shortlink. Also, if that’s your definition of “combine JS files”, then I can definitely say it’s not working. All other plugins that combine JS files do exactly that (the waterfall only show 1-5 js files when combined is enabled). Plus, your plugin appears to be incompatible with Perfmatters – something you may want to look into. Anyway, we’re disabling your plugin’s features (combine JS files). Not what we expected.

    ?Please post a shortlink.

Yeah. No, don’t use a shortlink on this site, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. Usually in place. Long links are preferred.

    Hi @jdembowski,

Apologies, simply meant to say a link or format that allows me to read and understand better what the developer posted. ??

    Cheerio!

    Hey @emrevona,

    Still waiting for your help.

Your plugin’s Combine JS feature is still not working — as described above. Your plugin’s documentation is vague and does not elaborate at all on how it’s supposed to work.

    Thank you ??
