• Good Day,

In compliance with local and foreign data-collection regulations (e.g., GDPR), our company needs to know if your plugin (free and premium versions) collect personal and/or website information? If yes, what is being collected and how do we opt-out?

For example, our images are currently optimized by your server(s), so what is being collected?

    Thank you.

Never. WordPress does not allow us collect any data.

The images are public datas. I don’t think collecting pictures is forbidden. But we don’t collect them.

    Hi Emre,

Good to know. In that case, our company (and most of your plugin users) would appreciate the following:

    1. Add a note to your plugin’s “readme” file to reiterate what you stated. (source)
    2. Add a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to your website. We found none as noted here and here (i.e., website footer). As you can see here and here, for example, reputable plugins have these documents listed in the footer of their website.

    Thank you.
