• This is an excellent plugin for hiding malware code. It took me 4 hours of debugging to determine where the malware PHP code was. Someone added it as a code snippet of this plugin, and that malware code also hid this plugin.

    Hi @dpeca,

I’m sorry to hear you had that experience, but this is not caused by WPCode. WPCode is being abused by bad actors that gain unauthorized access to websites. They could just as well install a custom coded plugin or edit your files directly once they get access to the website with administrator rights.

If you haven’t already, please update the passwords for all administrator accounts on your site and make sure to remove any user accounts that you do not recognize.

If you reached out to our support channel, we would have gladly pointed you in the right direction to fix this issue immediately. I hope you can reconsider your review.

I will change my review when your plugin starts keeping ‘code snippets’ as .php files so that antivirus programs can find malware in them.
Until it stays in the database, you are helping malware to stay stealthy.

    I have the same problems.
