Nextgen Gallery Comments

  • Hi,
    i am using Nextgen Pro plugin on my site. The Pro version comes with a Lightbox which “hooks” into the wordpress commenting system.
    You can see it, when you click on one of the images:
    https://www.ralf-kerkhoff.de/galerie/bewegung/
    – the lightbox will then open.

    While commenting wordpress articles works fine – doing so for an image:
    WP Armour marks every comment as spam.

    Any ideas how to solve this without disabling wp armour for the whole wp-comments thing?

    Please let me know when you find the time to have a look -i will then re-enable wp-armour.
    Due to claims of visitors i have de-activated it for now.

    Hi Ralf,

    The plugin you are using for the gallery opens the comment form in a popup after the Comment icon is clicked. This causes our plugin to be unable to add the required spam test fields in the comment box. We need to find the JavaScript trigger that opens the comment form and then call our JavaScript function to add those fields.

    To work on this, I need the plugin file. Can you send me the Pro version of the file at [email protected]? I will try to find a solution and see if we can work it out.
