Wordfence incorrectly flagged a plugin

    Hi,

    Per Wordfence: “The Store Exporter for WooCommerce – Export Products, Export Orders, Export Subscriptions, and More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.”

    I posted the above in their support forum (see attached URL), and they are saying you are incorrect. Please verify whether or not the security issue exists in version 2.7.3.

    Hi @dave8441,

    Our Threat Intelligence team took a look just to be certain and the plugin developers have indeed been in touch as they stated in the topic you referenced. We have now been able to verify and resolve the issue as to why 2.7.3 was being flagged so your next scheduled scan, or a manual scan in the near future shouldn’t show this warning any more.
