Feedwordpress Custom Feed Settings

    my site is here https://dmblogs.ncl.ac.uk

    I’m trying to add a ‘Custom Feed Setting’ to change the background color for each category of post.
    I need to differentiate between types of feed (Student Blogs or Course Notes etc).
    is this possible using the get_feed_meta() function?
