    Hi

All of a sudden all clients where the contact form goes to a gmail.com OR bigpond.com NEVER arrives at all into their inbox. Not in Spam either.

I am cc and getting them no issues as I have domain name email. But clients do NOT have any other emails to use .

I’ve tried smtp2go plugin also still doesn’t arrive.

Does anyone of any advice on HOW to fix this please ? Very frustrating.

    Thanks

    Hi @kristinubute ,

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing email delivery issues—this can be frustrating!

For WPForms Lite users, email delivery issues often arise because WordPress emails are unauthenticated, which makes them more likely to be blocked or filtered by email providers like Gmail or Bigpond.

To address this, we recommend configuring an SMTP plugin to send emails via an authenticated method. While you’ve tried SMTP2GO, you might consider alternative SMTP solutions like WP Mail SMTP to ensure better compatibility.

Here’s a guide to the best WordPress SMTP plugins and detailed instructions on how to fix email issues using SMTP.

    I hope this helps ??

    HI

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes I would try WP Mail SMTP but the issue is the client does NOT know their password for bigpond or gmail and that plugin requires username/email address and password.

I already had a look at that. I choose the last option.

Unless there is another option in that plugin that I am not aware of that doesn’t require the password for the email.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi?@kristinubute?,

Thank you for getting back to me! ??

I completely understand the challenge of not having the email account’s password—it can be tricky in such situations. While WP Mail SMTP typically requires the email and password for authentication, there’s an alternative option that might work for your client:

Another great solution would be to use a third-party mailer service like SendLayer, which doesn’t rely on the client’s Gmail account credentials.

SendLayer is straightforward to set up and provides a secure and reliable way to send emails. Here’s a guide that outlines how to set it up: How to Set Up SendLayer with WP Mail SMTP.

Alternatively, your client could create a new Gmail account and use its credentials for WP Mail SMTP, ensuring they can manage email sending smoothly without needing the password for the original account.

Let me know if this sounds like a good approach or if there’s anything else I can assist with!
