I need help with my WooCommerce Shipping settings.

I’m in the USA and a customer in France trying to buy items from my website. I believe the website Cart has calculated his shipping cost based on the “Rest of World” rate and not the “Europe” rate.

For my “Europe”, I have “Europe” selected. That should include France.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Looks like when I click Europe, none of the boxes in Europe get checked.

Do I really have to go in an manually check all 564 of those boxes? And then repeat for each continent…!?

    Hi there!

I understand your concern. When you select “Europe,” by default, all countries within Europe will be included in that shipping zone. You don’t need to manually select each box. Those boxes are available if you want to create a shipping zone for specific countries within Europe.

Can you please share some screenshots to help us investigate this further? I recommend using?https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    We need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone (please share this for all zones)
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone > Click on edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings (please share this for all methods)
    • The cart/checkout page with the issue

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

FYI: I have also tested with checking all of the 564 boxes and that did not help.

My customer is using this address:

    12 Rue des Hirondelles
    67800 Bischheim
    France

However, the calculation used appears to be for ROW (Rest of World), when the intent is for it to use the Europe calculation.

I do not see how to add images to this forum. So, I am adding links from Google Drive:

Calculation that should be used, but was not used: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OBZ1T43u3NYwzIvbSD9xPMsadoLn4gjO/view?usp=sharing

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, and apologies for missing your second question in my previous response. You do not need to select each checkbox individually when you select Europe as a region; all countries within Europe will automatically be included in the shipping method. The checkboxes are only used if you want to select specific countries within Europe.

From the screenshot, the settings appear to be configured correctly. It seems like there might be a plugin or theme conflict causing this issue. I attempted to replicate the problem on my test site using the same shipping zone setup, but everything is working fine on my end.

To assist you further, could you please run a conflict test to see if this resolves the issue? Here are step-by-step instructions on how to perform a conflict test:

In the meantime, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

Before I provide all that info (that will take a lot of time), I want to share these details.

I noticed that it’s not just this customer’s address. It appears to be that many, maybe ALL, foreign orders are getting charged the Rest of World rate.

I found this in the status page. Would this be the reason?

-“Cart: ?Page does not contain the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode or the woocommerce/cart block.”

    Hi there!

Yes, that could be the reason. Since you are not using the default shortcode or WooCommerce block on the cart page, could you please provide more information about the exact plugin you are using to create the cart page? It seems like the plugin you’re using to create the cart page may be causing this issue.

I would suggest creating a staging site and running a conflict test by following the instructions I shared in my previous response. This will help determine if the issue can be resolved.

Let me know how it goes!
