Classless

This is completely tasteless to take someones hard work and giving it away for free. Legally maybe allowed but totally without class.
It also sets a terrible precedent for other plugin developrs. How can they be assured this won’t happen to them? They can’t, so why would they not move their core business to something else if this risk exists? Which will hurt WordPress and it’s users in the long run.
All over a childish dispute that should just have gone to court and let the rest of us out of it.
Even when I log in here I see this checkbox text I have to check “I am not affiliated with WP Engine in any way, financially or otherwise.”
That’s not how normal people deal with issues. It’s how children on the playground behave.
