Hello, I know others have has similar issues but I’m not finding my solution in other posts.

I have one MetaSlider slideshow on the front page of the indicated site. On narrower screens, the images shrink proportionally and are therefore tiny on mobile. I would expect them to take up most of the width of a narrower screen.

I disabled LiteSpeed as I saw it was recommended to disable caching plugins. No change.

    All help appreciated!

Hi @jfoot3000. Thanks for using MetaSlider. This will be an issue because your images are such different shapes and sizes. Some are portrait, some are landscape.

We have some advice on this here: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/image-cropping/

Hmm. I was thinking the Smart Pad option would mean that padding was added to portrait images on desktop, but landscape images on mobile. I’d rather start with a size-matched set of images, but it’s not my call.

I’d like to consider the option of hiding some images depending on screen size, but it seems to have no effect. All images are displayed no matter what I have set to hide.

[EDIT: selective hiding seems to work now. Cache issue maybe?]

No, Smart Pad doesn’t adjust for different device sizes.

I would recommending hiding some images depending on screen size. Try refreshing the screen after changing the device size.

Thanks for using MetaSlider. We haven’t heard from you in over a week so are closing this discussion for now. Please post back if this remains an issue.
