  • I’m having the same issue with my new website. I’v gone back to the theme developer in case there is an issue there, but they’ve said there isn’t. I need a checkbox for checkout users, to tick to agree to a statement. Screenshot of setup attached (front and back). Every time I ‘save’ it (I’ve changed the name a couple of times to test that it’s saving), it says there is an error, or I didnt make a change. I’d really appreciate this working, can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’m using the Divilife Woocommerce Pro child theme. https://elementalcovers.com.au

We can see that you are using WooCommerce blocks on your website. Due to this reason, the changes are not being reflected on the checkout page.

Unfortunately, any of the plugins that add custom fields to the checkout page are currently not compatible with WooCommerce blocks. Once WooCommerce adds any hooks or filters, we will definitely provide the compatibility.

For now, we suggest using the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout] to create the checkout page, as this will enable our plugin to work correctly.

    Thank you!

Regarding the error message, “Your changes were not saved due to an error,” there are a couple of possible causes:
    ?
    1. Max_input_vars is having a low value.
    ?
We believe that the issue is due to the low value (1000) for the run-time configuration property max_input_vars. Could you please increase the value of max_input_vars to 3000 or 5000 and verify once again from your side. The following article can help you to increase max_input_vars value:

    ?
    2. Clicking on Save changes without making any modification.

Could you please check and verify it from your end?

    Thank you!

What are woocommerce blocks exactly, sorry I’m not good at this. If you can guide me further with this please I would really appreciate that. I’m using Hello Elementor theme, and I don’t know how to make the checkout page with shortcode.

WooCommerce Blocks are a powerful set of customizable blocks for WordPress that allow you to seamlessly integrate WooCommerce product displays and eCommerce features into your site using the Gutenberg block editor (the default WordPress editor). These blocks enable you to add and style products, categories, and shopping cart functionality with ease, without needing to write custom code or rely on complex theme modifications.

Further, please refer to the below link which will explain you about the WooCommerce shortcode.

    Thank you!
