    Hi,
I know it’s better to have other than default permalink structure, but in a specific site it should be like that. I tried to enable the sitemap feature on AIOSEO but it keeps pointing to mydomain.com/sitemap.xml and I ger a 404 page.
Is it possible to use default permalink structure and a sitemap with AIOSEO?

    Thanks

    Hi @maorb ,

    Thank you for reaching out!

To assist you better, could you please provide the URL of your site so we can take a look?

Additionally, when you mention the “default permalink structure,” do you mean the “Post name” permalink structure (e.g., /%postname%/)?

If so, using the Post name permalink structure should still allow the sitemap to generate correctly at /sitemap.xml. If you’re encountering a 404—Not Found error when trying to access the sitemap, you can follow the troubleshooting steps in this guide:
    https://aioseo.com/docs/how-to-fix-a-404-error-when-viewing-your-sitemap/

If your site is hosted on an NGINX server, it may require specific server-side configurations. In this case, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to apply the rewrite rule for your sitemap as explained in our documentation here:
    https://aioseo.com/docs/xml-sitemap-rewrite-rules-for-nginx/

Let me know if you need further assistance or clarification!

    Hi @maorb,

We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of days. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
    Thanks!
