Unable to replace the Vendor Profile Picture ?

By default, admins cannot change other users’ profile pictures. However, you can use a third-party plugin or implement a custom solution to enable this functionality.

I have installed & activated the WP User Profile Avatar plugin.

Unfortunately, even after uploading the new profile picture, it’s not reflecting on the front end.

Am I missing a step ?

Furthermore, the 3rd party plugin has (-) reviews. Has the plugin tried & tested ?

I have deactivated the WP User Profile Avatar plugin & installed the Simple Local Avatars plugin.

The Profile picture has changed on the backend, but not showing on the front end ?!

The Dokan vendor profile has not changed, yet the User profile is showing the ‘new’ profile image.

Currently, there is no option for the admin to change a vendor’s profile picture directly from the admin panel while editing the vendor’s profile. Vendors can only update their profile pictures by logging into their accounts and accessing the store settings page.

However, you can use the User Switching plugin to log in as the vendor from the admin panel and update the profile picture on their behalf.

Unfortunately, neither the WP User Profile Avatar, User Switching or Simple Local Avatars plugins is working to change the Profile image.

Have you tested the plugins before recommending to the users ?

I also asked my Webhost provider to test the plugins, with no success.

The User Switching plugin mentioned above allows you to switch to the vendor’s account. From there, you can update the profile picture on their behalf.

After clicking the ‘Switch To’ option for the Bonna User, the action takes me to the Home Page.

What is my next course of action ?

P.S: at the bottom left corner of the Home Page, message “Switch back to admin”. What does this mean ?
