Hello – Code Snippets Pro Plan. (Version 3.6.5)

When I attempt to EDIT a snippet, the page remains blank and the text “Loading edit page…” is displayed, but the snippet never becomes editable (page remains blank). This is the same behaviour for all snippets.

This seems to have just appeared – working without issue previously. I did upgrade to WP 6.7 yesterday (so may be related).

Tried to clone a snippet to test – but same issue.

When inspecting the page that displays the “Loading edit page …”, I see in the JS console the following two errors:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘unstable_scheduleCallback’)
    at n (react-dom.min.js?ver=18.3.1:10:105894)
    at react-dom.min.js?ver=18.3.1:10:129073
    at react-dom.min.js?ver=18.3.1:10:129108

    AND

Uncaught TypeError: s(…).render is not a function
    at 8911 (edit.js?ver=3.6.5:2:90231)
    at n (editor.js?ver=3.6.5:1:285159)

  • Same issue here, it keeps displaying “loading edit page”

Same problem here. The snippets still work.

Thanks for reporting this everyone – I haven’t noticed any issues in my testing of the new WordPress version, but I’ll continue testing in the hope I can reproduce this problem.

OK – embarrassed to say that this was/is (in my case) a browser issue. After WP 6.7 update numerous internal WP admin pages displayed white screens and in the case of Code Snippets the blank screen appeared when attempting to edit a snippet.

The simple solution – is to reset all the cache and cookies in the browser you are using.

I really appreciate your further testing and sharing the solutio here @avidform!

@leiovo @jurgenmo – I’m curious whether a similar solution might work for you?

I have tested on a friends computer and the editor is working fine. I assume when I clear the browser cache and cookies at home it will work again. If not so I will report back here.

    @avidform thanks for the solution.

Confirming that clearing the browser cache did the trick. It is not necessary to delete the cookies

Hi, thanks for your suggestions, I have tried to add or edit code in a incognito mode, which works fine, so it might be the browser cache issue as your mentioned. Appreciate for your help!
