Why does my wordpress installation contact api.www.remarpro.com?

    Hello,

    I was wondering why my wordpress installation tries to connect to api.www.remarpro.com right after I put in my database host, username, and password at the installation screen. And then again when I first login as admin.

    When it creates your WP-config.php file, it has to create your keys and salts, which are made at API.WordPress.com

    Oh I see. Thank you. My keys and salts have been created anyway, without allowing that connection so I guess it doesn’t bother it that it can’t create those at api.wordpress.com.
