• Hello, I just installed GeneratePress after previously using Astra, but I don’t see the default template for GeneratePress. I want it to appear as if it was freshly installed. How can I fix this? I installed Astra to try it out and didn’t like it, so now I want to revert to a clean installation of GeneratePress. The site was created just yesterday, so I don’t mind deleting anything necessary.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    I’ve managed to make some improvements to the template, but I’ve noticed that on the mobile version, neither the main menu nor the top menu are visible. If anyone has suggestions or insights on how to fix this, I’d appreciate your input.

    Hi there,

    Can you link me to the homepage so I can see the issue?

    If you’d like to have a fresh start, you can use the WP RESET plugin to reset the site while GP theme is activated.

    Let me know ??

    Please check in mobile to see the error with the menu.

    Hi there,

    The menu is there, but it is not visible because its color is white, which matches the background. You can change the menu text color under Customize > Colors > Primary Navigation > Navigation Text.

    Thank you for pointing that out! I’ll go ahead and adjust the color as suggested. However, I’m still facing an issue with the top menu not appearing on mobile. Any advice on how to make it visible would be greatly appreciated!

    In your Customiser > Additional CSS you have this CSS:

    /* no top bar on mobile devices */
    ? ? ? ? ? ? @media (max-width: 768px) {
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? .top-bar {
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? display: none;
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? }
    ? ? ? ? ? ? }

    You can remove that, as it hides the top bar on mobile.

    Perfect, it worked. Is there any way to make it responsive to that menu?

    The navigation menu widget is from WP core, we don’ have control over it.

    It’s navigation block has the option to shrink to a hamburger icon on mobile, but it seems not the case for the widget, unfortruanly.

    If you have GP Premium, there will be multiple ways to achieve it, but with the free theme, it won’t be easy.
