    All Users (Network Admins, Admins, and Subscribers) are seeing this error when trying to login to any of our many WordPRess multisites – “ERROR: An error was encountered while trying to authenticate. Please try again.” After working with our host provider, we have found that this is a Wordfence issue, so we attempted to briefly deactivate Wordfence to get back in and check the logs, but it needs to be network-deactivated and we cannot do it from terminus. We have also rolled back Wordfence to the last version before this issue emerged, but it did not fix the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    We were able to finally get in and deactivate the Wordfence plugin. Thank you.
