Thank you for reaching out to us. What shortcode are you currently using? Do you have any cache plugin running in your site at present? Has anything changed in your site prior to this issue?

    Kind regards.

I am not using a shortcode; I am using the sidebar widget to put the Donate button on the site. https://www.slippah.org.

Most of the settings for the plug-in are set to default.

There is a caching plug-in: WP SuperCache. This site has been operating since 2005 or 2006 with very few changes. Earlier this year, my hosting provider, XV Host, was bought out by Sky Net Hosting, but Sky Net retained the same hosting setup.

Something in your site or your PayPal account has changed and that is why you are getting this message. Cache plugins can cause issues like these with shopping cart pages. Also, have you contacted PayPal in regards to your account?

You might also like to test for plugins and or theme conflict. Sometimes changes to a plugin and or your theme can cause issues.

    Kind regards.

The site has been largely unchanged since about 2006. It has had WP SuperCache installed since then. It also uses Jetpack, which also provides image acceleration services. Have not had problems for 18 years with these plug-ins, nor with the PayPal Donations plug-in.

I have logged in to the PayPal account and detect absolutely no problems and have no notifications of any problems with the account. It can receive PayPal payments, just not from this plug-in, even though it has been operational for 18 years.

Any other thoughts will be welcome.

What happens if you disable all other plugins except ours?

Are all your plugins up to date? What WordPress version is your site running? What PHP version is your server running?

You might want to try one of the following plugins to help you troubleshoot this issue.

    And or:

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards.
