Nextgen Pro 3.31.4 update fails

  • Good day,

    On my page I get prompted since weeks to update Nextgen Pro to v.3.31.4 but when trying to do so I get an error message (Update failed: Download failed. Unauthorized).

    By looking up the changelog of Nextgen Pro there is no information about 3.31.4, it stops at 3.31.3.

    Am I missing something here ?

    Don’t think they will do Pro help here, but I actually reported the lack of Change Log update to their help desk on October 10, 2024. It is still not updated apparently. There were also quirky things going on with the 3.31.4 appearing and disappearing from available updates – so I’ve avoided the mess altogether by simply just not installing it.

    Thank you very much for replying. I was not aware that they have a dedicated forum for the pro version, could possibly provide me with a link ?

    Regarding the subject, it seems wise not to update it, after all, as mentionned, I would be unable to do so…

    It seems that you are using the paid version of NextGEN Gallery. If you have an active license subscription with us, could you please submit a support ticket through the NextGEN Gallery account dashboard when you have a chance? For more context, www.remarpro.com’s goal is to ensure that paying customers and free users get the best support they can, from the ones that can give it. 

    The www.remarpro.com forum is moderated by volunteers and as volunteers do not have access to the paid products, they recommend reaching out to the authors of the code, as the issues you are having involve paid gated features, it is better to avoid mixing it with the features of a free plugin or theme.
