IndexNow not work

    Hi, i added a few posts to my site (a few days ago) although there are links to these posts in IndexNow history, but they were not indexed! I indexed the new posts manually through the search console.

    Why was it done manually but the posts were not indexed via IndexNow?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

    The IndexNow API is not used by Google. It will only submit the URLs to Bing and Yandex. If you want to use Instant Indexing for Google, please follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

    Please note that the Instant Indexing doesn’t guarantee that your posts will be indexed. If Google considers your site eligible for instant indexing, they will crawl the submitted URLs. If they don’t, they will ignore and you will have to rely on sitemap or manual submission for indexing.

    @rankmathsupport You did not mention this in the settings there. I think many people think this option is for Google index! Please mention in an update, in the description there.
