When we updated the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin to the new version 2.9.3 on the staging environment and tested the PayPal payment gateway on the checkout page with a sandbox account, it did not function correctly. The order is not being captured in the backend, and it fails to redirect to the thank you page, remaining on the same checkout page instead.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @rdrosh

I could not test for this issue on your staging site as there seems to be some complication with the multistep checkout process.

I suggest running a conflict test first to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin.
We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Please let us know how this works out for you.

Regards,
Femi.

Hello @femiyb,

Thank you for your reply. I have tested the checkout page with the default theme, and it worked fine. However, I’m unsure about the changes in the newer versions of the plugin, as the old version (2.9.0) works with the child theme, but newer versions do not.

Could you please check the checkout page here: https://edwardstag.wpenginepowered.com/checkout/? It includes some basic validations, and we have implemented OTP validation for the email field. Please take a look and let me know the reason for the issue or what changes are required in the theme customization to restore the functionality as it was before.

I would appreciate your assistance and a solution as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hello

Apologies for the late reply.

I tested on the site you shared, but I was unable to reproduce this issue.

Could you please confirm if this issue has been resolved?

Regards,
Femi
