• Hello,

    I’ve set your plugin to use Google’s Two Factor Authentication.

    It worked fine, but today I got the message that Two Factor Authentication was not working and I had to use a backup code.

    Given that I use Two Factor Authentication to secure many connections and that I’ve never come across a problem with Google’s Two Factor Authentication not working, I’m wondering what this could be due to.

    Especially since I switched to your plugin because of an intrusion problem with the AIOS plugin.

    Should I be worried?

    Hi,

    I read the documentation and found this code to put in the wp-config.php file:
    define ( ‘SOLID_SECURITY_LEGACY_2FA_UI’, true)
    By the way, there’s no ; at the end, which can cause an error:
    define (‘SOLID_SECURITY_LEGACY_2FA_UI’, true);

    It doesn’t work, but I understand it must be related to another plugin, maybe BlogVault security, I’ll contact them.
    Thank you.

    Hi @pierreto,

    Apologies for the slow turnaround here, and thanks for catching that missing symbol on our guide! I’ll make sure to update that.

    Can you please share if you were able to resolve the 2FA issue you’ve encountered with Solid Security? If not, would you mind sharing the exact error you’re getting when you try to use the Mobile App 2FA method during login?

    If you’re getting the “Mobile App Two-Factor is temporarily unavailable” message, please register a new secret QR to your Google Auth app to resolve the error. To do that, go to your user profile’s Solid Security 2FA settings and configure 2FA until you can find the “Generate New Secret” button.

    Looking forward to your response!
