I’ve noticed that some Starlink IP addresses are being blocked via WordFence Country Blocking when they should not be. London/United Kingdom is an allowed location on our website, however Wordfence is blocking 209.198.129.* because it thinks this IP is not in the UK… which it is. Even Wordfences own reporting says it’s a ‘London/United Kingdom’ IP.
There seems to be some conflict/disconnect between what is reported and what is blocked.

Hi @wilkouk, thanks for reaching out.

Generally speaking, it’s important to note that IP location detection will never be 100% accurate in all cases as IP addresses are constantly changing. We update the geoIP database as often as we can, although in many cases where we’ve looked into IP location for customers they’ve often been updated?after?the initial Live Traffic hit.

As Country Blocking is a premium feature, we’re unable to look into it in more detail here on the forums as per www.remarpro.com rules but you’re welcome to open a support ticket at?https://support.wordfence.com?because of your license. Feel free to just paste the same content as above in your ticket as you’ve included plenty of detail.

You can also access premium support via the Help menu item in the plugin, Help link on the plugin’s Dashboard page, on our documentation homepage or via the HELP link in the footer of all wordfence.com pages.

Just in case you posted here because you can’t access premium support, please send an email to lockout @ wordfence . com and provide the email address or username that is associated with the account so that we can get you the assistance you need.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
