Hi community! I am using the latest version of WordPress, 6.6.2 and all active plugins (there’s no inactive plugins) are of the latest versions too. Recently I found I can’t add new page/post or editing current pages/posts using default editor but Elementor editor.

    By now I’ve tried:

    • Clear browser cache, Use incognito mode, Switch to different browsers
    • Clear WP cache using WP Rocket
    • Deactivate all plugins and switch to default twenty twenty-four/two themes
    • Exclude xxx.com/wp-admin* from amazon CloudFront caching

None of them works out. I’d really appreciate it if anyone could give me hints on this. Thank you!

For reference, I’ve stored the console log files of post/page related actions here (google drive).

  • I see several messages in the logs that files could not be loaded via https:// because the browser blocks this. Have you switched from https:// to https://? If so, I would recommend you to do another Better Search & Replace to solve this.

If I understand correctly, clicking on “New Post” loads the page for the block editor, but it does not load completely or as a white page – right? Maybe this can be solved by the above mentioned adjustment. If not, go to Updates and click on the “Re-Install” button. This will reinstall the WordPress core files.

    Hi @threadi !

    Exactly.

Thank you for the solutions! I just installed the plugin you mentioned and did the https:// for https:// replacement. About 2500 changes were made. Then I cleared cache of wp and browser but still not working. So I reinstalled the wp core file and did the same clear cache thing and the issue persists.

Luckily our developer seems to have a clue on the issue. It has something to do with CDN cache. So we are working on it together now. I’ll give feedback on this later.

Reason confirmed for CloudFront cache settings.
