I created a form with the fields Email Address, First Name, and Last Name (all are required). Is there a way to change the order of the Email field? I would prefer the user to first enter their Name, followed by their Email (so the order is 1. First Name, 2. Last Name, 3. Email).

However, the Email field is automatic when creating the form, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust its order after I add the additional fields. Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @loralu There should be “move up” and “move down” buttons in the form editor screen to change the order in which the fields show.

I don’t see any move buttons. Where? Here is my screenshot:

There must be some sort of CSS conflict going on because they should be appearing under the “Required” checkboxes. Impossible for us to say for certain though without being able to see things first hand.

Is there a private way I could have you take a look at it?

Late followup to this issue on the public facing side of things. The issue was related to a plugin named “Draw Attention Pro” and it having its own copy of the CMB2 plugin bundled with its plugin. This was causing some issues with regards to the display of move buttons. Once “Draw Attention Pro” was deactivated, the buttons appeared and the orignal poster was able to move things as needed.

Doesn’t resolve the original problem, but all plugins involved may have need to get upgraded to the latest bundled versions of CMB2.
