Can’t migrate

So we can determine more on this, and ensure you can get the plugin successfully connected, please share the following:

1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form?to share privately if preferred.??
2. What is the URL of the page where you see this error? I ask as this may contain a no longer valid callback URL, based on your previous site.

If you have not tried resetting Site Kit yet, could you try reverting the site back to the original URL, then perform the reset and once reset, follow the same migration steps you did previously.

I forgot to say this, but I also put the old site back to disable Site Kit as you show me, but without success.

@deuxparquatre Thanks for sharing the information. Could you please also share your site URL as well as the URL of the page you land on when encountering this issue if that is different.

@deuxparquatre Thanks for sharing the recording that is helpful. Does the same occur if you temporarily modify your site title via?Settings > General > Site Title?and then try setup once more? You can add a single extra character to your site title, and revert back after attempting Site Kit setup.

@adamdunnage Yup, I conserve the error when I change Site Title.

@deuxparquatre Sorry to hear that this didn’t work you. Something else you could try at this stage would be to temporary remove the www prefix from your site, so it defaults to your site URL without the www. To do this follow these steps:

1. Visit your site settings (Settings > General).
2. Change your site address (URL) and WordPress address (URL) from?https://www.yoursite.com?to?https://yoursite.com.
3. Press the save button.
4. Attempt Site Kit setup once more after logging back into your site.

If this isn’t something you wish to do then let me know and I will investigate further.

It doesn’t work.

At the same time, it’s starting to get a bit ridiculous all this time to solve a problem. Change the name, put the name back, change the URL, put the URL back, send a video, send the site health data, etc. it’s starting to be a lot for nothing.

I don’t really understand why you’re making me do a lot of exercises when a simple “delete my domain from your databases” should solve the problem, right?

On the other hand, don’t you find it a bit crazy that I had to change the URL of a site?

@deuxparquatre I appreciate your frustration with all the steps I have asked you to perform but these steps can work which is why we first ask you to perform them to save us waiting for a check on your records and to update them which can take a couple of days.

However, as none of these options have worked, I will reach out to the internal team and ask for a check on your site records on the Site Kit service. If anything needs updating then this will be done for you and you should then be able to complete the setup.
