To add a phone number field when you create a new user, you’ll need to use the help of a plugin. Please note that while WooCommerce does have a phone field, it is only tied to the billing address and is not part of the default WordPress user profile.

You can check whether there are existing plugins in the WordPress plugin repository that might be doing that by running a quick search on the plugin repository.
