  • Hi @bserg66 ,

Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you see the product image in the block checkout, but it disappears in the shortcode version. First, can you confirm if you’re using the latest versions of WooCommerce and WordPress? Also, have you recently updated any themes or plugins?

To help you further, I’d like to learn more about your setup. Please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report so we can check. You can find it by going to WooCommerce → Status, then selecting “Get system report” and clicking “Copy for Support.”

If possible, please also share a clear screenshot or video of what you’re seeing. You can use snipboard.io for screenshots. For videos, you can try https://loom.com or https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/ to create a link that you can paste into your response.

Looking forward to getting this sorted out.

    WordPress – 6.6.2

    WooCommerce – 9.3.3

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. The issue you’re seeing is because the shortcode displays the classic view of the checkout page, which lacks certain options available in the block layout.

For WooCommerce stores created after version 8.3 (released in November 2023), the Cart and Checkout blocks are the default experience, and there are notable differences between the classic and block views.

For more details, please refer to this article: WooCommerce Cart and Checkout Blocks

To assist you better, could you share more information on why you’re using the shortcode instead of the block view for checkout? This will help us understand your needs and suggest alternative solutions. Thank you!

I use shortcode , as WC Nova Poshta Shipping , and Shipping for Nova Poshta plugins work only with

    shortcode.

Hi @bserg66 – as @shahzeenfarooq explained, you can see from the Storefront demo, the shortcode-based checkout page lacks the feature. If you want to use the shortcode and have the product image show up, then you will need to customize the code.

You can safely make changes to default templates with a template override. Specifically in this case, you’ll want to override the file at woocommerce > templates > checkout > review-order.php, to add the code that will output a column in the table that includes the product image. Perhaps you can use the cart.php file that looks similar, as inspiration.

The specifics of what you need to do is outside the scope of support we can offer here. If you’re a developer yourself, refer to our Developer Resources, or connect with peers on the Developer Community Slack. If you’d rather have somebody do it for you, connect with a developer here.

I hope that explains the situation and points you towards a solution. If you need help with anything else, please feel free to start another thread.
