    Hi,

I’m currently testing prime events on a german site and therefore changed the date format using General/Setup to d.m.Y

However, when I look at all-events the Date looks like “So, 08 Dec 13:00“.

How can I change the date to either

    • Sonntag, 08. Dez. 2024 13:00 or
    • So, 08. Dez. 2024 13:00 or
    • 08. Dez. 2024 13:00

    Thanks for your support!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

To change the date format on the Event Listing page, go to EventPrime -> Settings under the Frontend Views tab, then select the Event Listings subtab. Find the Events Date Format option and choose your preferred format.

    Thanks for the reply.
Didn’t really work, but I found an interms workaround.

    What I found out:
Under Settings/General I can choose between the following formats:

    dd-mm-yy&d-m-Y”>23-10-2024 (d-m-Y)
    mm-dd-yy&m-d-Y”>10-23-2024 (m-d-Y)
    yy-mm-dd&Y-m-d”>2024-10-23 (Y-m-d)
    dd/mm/yy&d/m/Y”>23/10/2024 (d/m/Y)
    mm/dd/yy&m/d/Y”>10/23/2024 (m/d/Y)
    yy/mm/dd&Y/m/d”>2024/10/23 (Y/m/d)
    dd.mm.yy&d.m.Y”>23.10.2024 (d.m.Y)
    mm.dd.yy&m.d.Y”>10.23.2024 (m.d.Y)
    yy.mm.dd&Y.m.d”>2024.10.23 (Y.m.d)

Looking at Settings/Frontend Views I only have these formats (missing “dd.mm.yy&d.m.Y”>23.10.2024 (d.m.Y)”)
    Default
    “Y-m-d”>2024-10-23
    “m/d/Y”>10/23/2024
    “d/m/Y”>23/10/2024

Maybe it would be nice in the future to
    a) have the same settings in both views or
    b) the the user provide it’s own date pattern

    Workaround:
When I use [em_events view=”staggered_grid”] the 12th month is written as December
Now, when I use [em_events view=”rows”] the 12th month is written as Dezember, which is more german. So, I switched to rows, which looks better
