How to change the “From” registration email

I’m not sure if this will do it, but try changing the email for admin in “Users”. I had to change my settings there to get the proper email to show up in my admin comments.

The only admin level user I have is called webmaster and I can’t edit it!!!

I tried to create a new user called admin but it won’t let me and says that the user already exists. I log in as admin, but it’s not visible in the users list.

Sorry I take that back. My admin profile uses the nickname of “webmaster” and has the [email protected] addy in it.

The only other thing I can think of is to check the addresses that show up in phpMyAdmin. WP is drawing the other address from somewhere, and perhaps it’s in your db and not updating?

I am having the same problem……..when a user registers, the email with the password comes from [email protected]. I haven’t had time to dig in the code yet, but I am assuming that this address is coming from my server some where.
