Site language auto-defaults to English US

    Hi Team,

    i am using translate press on my site and everything is working just fine with the front-end. however, as soon as I activate the plugin the site language in the WordPress backend switches to English US and I am not able to reset it under Setting->General->Site Language. As soon as I press save it would reload the site and be back with English US.

    any idea, suggestions are highly appreciated!

    Hello,

    The Site Language option in Settings -> General does not apply when TranslatePress is active on the site. You should be able to change it, but it will not apply the selected language; instead, it will use the default language set in TranslatePress.

    You can change the dashboard language from the right side – Edit Profile -> Language.
