Support The Tickets option does not appear in the plugin options
I am unable to directly access the Dashboard page in the WordPress backend
But it can be accessed through the front-end page
I searched through all the settings but couldn’t find a way to restore it
I don’t know what the problem is
I am unable to directly access the Ticket list from the WordPress backend to reply to work orders
However, all other functions of the plugin are functioning normally

    Hello there,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Please add yourselft as support agent at Support > Support Agents > Agents > Add New.

This will allow the access to the tickets menu.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply

I am using an administrator account
By default, this account is Administrator instead of Agent
I cannot add this account as an agent, but I can modify it to an agent
After modification, the tickets option was successfully displayed.

But what I’m a bit puzzled about is
In theory, the Administrator has all the permissions
So it should be able to be displayed directly.
I am using it on another testing site,
By default, the administrator account is set to Administrator
However, the tickets option can still be displayed directly.
Maybe it’s a bug or something I’m not sure about.

    Wishing you a happy life.

    Hi guys,

Similar issue here. As an administrator I couldn’t see the “Add New” button in anywhere.

Support > Settings > Ticket Categories.

Support > Support Agents > Agents

Support > Custom Fields > Ticket Form Fields

Really didn’t understand why. I emptied functions.php, deactivated many plugins, no avail. Seems like a permission problem but how. There is also no sign of error. Any idea?

    Hello @unrulywind,

    Thanks for getting back.

You can add yourself as Administrator in the SupportCandy support agents. If you are using administrator account in the SupportCandy still not able to view the tickets menu then please remove yourself from the support agents and add again as administrator. It will fix the issue.

The tickets menu is not visible to you if you are not listed as support agent in the SupportCandy even though you are administrator in the WP-User.

    Thank you.

If this does not resolve the issue, then please deactivate the delete the SupportCandy plugin, installed and activate it again. Add yourself as support agent or administrator then check the issue.

    Thank you.

Hi @miliighe, Thanks for returning. I’ve tried removing myself, since there is no add new button, I am not able to add myself again now. Then, I deactivated and deleted and reinstalled and activated the plugin. But still there is no “Add New” button for me as an administrator. I can only see tickets from an other administrator’s view now and not from my default admin account since I am no longer an admin in Support Candy. There is no “Add New” button for anybody. How?

    Hello @demironmanx,

    Thanks for getting back.

Please create a ticket on our support portal so we can debug the issue further.

    Thank you.

    Hi @miliighe,

I tried to reply you on the https://supportcandy.net/support-ticket/?wpsc-section=ticket-list&ticket-id=******&auth-code=xxxxxxx with the guest login you have provided to me. But I couldn’t submit my reply to there. When I click submit, a dialog box is opening at the top and it says, “Are you sure?” like trying to discard the message that I wrote. And when I refresh the ticket’s page, my new replies are not visible. So I am unable to reply you yet.

I wanted to create an admin for you soon, but I couldn’t send the credentials with the guest login feature.

    Thank you
