Force 2FA configuration at first login?

    We are using Wordfence Free, and have configured user roles to require 2FA.

    Can you tell me please is there any option or method to force (or at least redirect) required 2FA users to configure this immediately after logging in? Just thinking of ways to streamline admin effort.

    Hi @wbdevlee,

    I have treated your use-case as a development request as the plugin doesn’t currently force a user to setup 2FA when (or after) their grace period has been configured. When we’ve had similar cases, it may alter its priority in our development schedule although I can’t comment on possible delivery dates here on the forums.

    Although we are unable to support custom code here, or guarantee it will continue working as the Wordfence plugin updates over time, checking whether or not a row exists for the user ID in wp_wfls_2fa_secrets should let you see if a user has set up 2FA. That may provide a temporary solution to redirect a user or present a prompt to them.
