Amazon S3 Bucket CDN Setup Issue with Replace site’s hostname with: Field

to add with the above, site is setup in a sub directory which is https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming. seems that when CDN is enabled with S3, the files are uploaded to the root of the bucket, but when serving the files, \igaming\ is being appended to the S3 bucket cname, resulting in 404 and images not loading.

Example:

trying to load image from: https://igaming-images.outlookindia.com/igaming/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/1-1-300×171.avif

How we can resolve this problem?

I’ve checked your website and can you please confirm you are using W3TC at the moment because I can see different plugin installed for the optimization.
This seems to be a CDN configuration issue on the AWS and not via the W3 Total cache because the W3TC sends the files where you previously set up the path.
In the CDN configuration, what is the website name for the bucket?

We have uninstalled w3tc plugin for now because CDn configuration was broken the images on Live Website.

Bucket name is igaming-images.outlookindia.com and CNAME is also igaming-images.outlookindia.com

And our websites Home URL is https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming

CDN configuration by S3 bucket is working fine on our Dev and staging enviroment because those are not configured on sub directory
Live site is configured on Sub directory, so when we enable CDN instead on replacing whole Home URL that is https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming, its just replacing the https://www.outlookindia.com/ and adding subdirectory name after the CNAME which is not the correct path of S3 Bucket images.

This is very interesting and weird. I need to try and replicate this with the subdir. It looks like the installation is not set up correctly and that the CDN is set up on the main website and the subdomain is added for a bucket.
This is why in most cases there would be issues with the incorrect URL

See the sceenshot of Site URL and Home URL Setup https://i.imgur.com/mggcd12.png This is how website is setup on igaming path. https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming/ subdirectory contains separate wordpress website and and https://www.outlookindia.com/ has another technology website , that is not wordpress CMS.

Thank you for your feedback.
We are unable to replciate this problem. It seems to be a problem with the configuiration on the CDN platform, as W3 Total cache only pulls the information of the bucket and use the rewrite capabilities to serve the files from the CDN.
Do you have any custom rules in the .htaccess/Nginx ?

Did you check my above screenshots regarding Site Url and Home URL setup in Admin area. According to you that is not an issue right? it should work with that setup right?

Server has no custom rules. But why Replace with hostname field only replaces https://www.outlookindia.com/ instead of whole Site URL which is https://www.outlookindia.com/igaming/

I applied the solution in the plugin myself https://i.imgur.com/ZjnlZG4.png. It will remove the basepath if exists in the path.

Please see screenshot and check if you can add it in the next version please. This solution works.
