The customer can redeem the generated vouchers, but the shipping costs are not covered by the voucher and must be paid separately.

    Hello!

    Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t support this yet. The addition of this feature is reported to programmers, but we do not know the date of its implementation.

I will add you to the list of people interested in this functionality, and I will inform you when it happens.

In case of further questions, please contact me.

    Kind Regards,

Oh really, that means you would generally have to make purchases with a voucher free of shipping costs so that everything works smoothly, or how do others do that? But it’s true, of course it doesn’t matter with digital goods.

    Hello!

    Thank you for your response.

I’m not sure exactly how other customers handle it, but I would assume they either offer free shipping or apply coupons only to orders above a certain value that meet the minimum required for free shipping (though this is just a guess).

However, it’s worth noting that a large portion of our customers use this plugin for selling virtual or digital products like tickets, courses, and training sessions, so the issue with shipping costs doesn’t come up in these cases.

If there’s anything else I can help you with, feel free to reach out!

Thats true, for these Cases the Plugin works perfect sadly not for my little fishing shop. Maybe it will work some day. Thank you, no further questions.

    Best Regards,

    Hello Simon,

    Thank you for your feedback!

One more thing came to mind that might help you. Have you tried using the ‘Allow free shipping’ option? This can be enabled when editing the product that serves as the coupon, as shown in the screenshot below:
    https://flexiblecoupons.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/flexible-coupons-pro-product-settings.png

If this option is activated, it allows the coupon to grant free shipping. Just make sure that the “Free Shipping” method is set up correctly in your WooCommerce settings, and that the coupon requirement for free shipping is included in the shipping method.

I discussed this scenario with our developers, and unfortunately, direct shipping cost coverage is not possible as WooCommerce currently does not support this functionality.

Maybe using the free shipping option will be sufficient for your use case?

Let me know if this helps, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

    Kind regards,
