Fatal error after update to 7.2

    Hello,

    I was just investigating a site being down and the debug log is pointing to complianz premium:

    syntax error, unexpected ‘|’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/somesite/www/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/pro/websitescan/class-wsc-auth.php on line 230

    I had to backdate the live site to 7.1.4 to get it back up.

    I will try and take a look on a local copy later today and update if I find the problem.

    I think this was likely just a failed update.

    I updated again, ran a site scan, and it’s fine. I also don’t see any | on the line in question.

    thanks for your feedback, I confirm it can happen an update failure like the one you experienced.

    Next time you can also try to follow this guide before updating or disable your cache/security plugins.
