Feed not Working on Auto Update

Despite configuring the backend settings for caching and GDPR, the plugin isn’t functioning as expected. The cache is set to clear every 30 minutes, but I have to manually clear it each time. The automatic clearing feature does not seem to be working.

    Backend settings:

    • Caching: Every 30 minutes
    • GDPR: Automatic

Can you please assist in resolving this issue?

    Hi @keshav608,

I am sorry to hear that your feeds are not automatically updating. I suspect this is due to caching on your website. To fix this, please try the following.

    • Ensure the time specified in the Caching setting is set to hourly. To do this, go to your?WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Feeds?and set the cache time to “Every hour” then click “Save Changes”
    • Check the settings on your server and in optimization plugins and set a lower time for “Cache Timeout or TTL”
    • If adjusting the TTL/Cache timeout doesn’t work, go to your?WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced, turn on “Load Initial Posts with AJAX”, and click Save Changes.
    • If all of the above doesn’t work, the wp-cron function, which controls background processes on your website, may not be working. Please follow this guide to fix it:?My feed does not update unless I manually clear the cache. – Smash Balloon

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks! ??
