• Is it possible to set up one WordPress design that can be used to replicated multiple sub-domains easily and quickly, but using a different main logo and colour scheme for each one?

Eg if a client wants to have individual portals for each of their customers, but they are to be individually branded with the company’s logo and colour scheme, can it be done so just something similar to ‘create new portal’ can be added that spits out a site with the individual colours and logos, but the majority of the information all the same?

    Hope someone can help!

    Best and thanks

  • well, you could look into setting up a network.

that’s one WP install, that acts like many. Each person gets their own website.

If you want the themes similar but different, you may have to play around a bit. Each person can not edit their own theme, the super admin. adds the theme, and the individual sites are stuck with the themes that are offered by the super admin, they can’t get into the theme editor.

However, if you picked a theme like atahualpa or suffussion they may have access to the theme options menu. (you may have to experiment, or maybe someone else can inform you for sure) But if they have access to the theme options menu, it allows for each person to tweak logos and colours.

Hi Rev. Voodoo, thanks for this. On this note, is it possible to have a number of ‘shared’ and ‘unique’ pages on each sub-site?
