    Hello,

I was facing the same issue yesterday. Please try the following as it fixed my issue.

Go to Scheduled Actions Page and check for In-Progress tab. In my case, there was one action which got stuck. I simply deleted it and then run an action manually from Pending tab. It did the trick.

@mayank29gupta Where can I find the In Progress tab? and which process to delete.

The notification you are getting for past due action will have a link to take you to schedule actions section. Check for the In-Progress tab, there will be one action pending in it. It will only have one action. Just delete it. The go to Pending tab and run the first process manually by hovering mouse over it and click on run. Then wait for few minutes, pending actions will start to reduce.

    Hi @rajathballal,

    Thank you for reaching out.

How to fix past due actions which are 2 days old on Woocommerce.

To fix past due actions that are 2 days old on WooCommerce, you’d need to follow these steps:

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions.
    2. In the ‘Pending’ tab, you will see all past due actions.
    3. You can manually run these actions by clicking on ‘Run’ next to each action.

Please let us know if this helps.

@ckadenge But can I know why this happens? How to prevent it from happening again in near future?

    Hi again @rajathballal,

To prevent this in the future, ensure your WP-Cron is working correctly. You can use plugins like WP-Crontrol to manage and diagnose any issues with your cron jobs. Also, make sure your site is updated regularly, including your plugins, themes, and WordPress itself.

Moreover, it’s worth reaching out to your hosting provider to check if there’s anything on their end that could be causing the issue.

    I hope this helps.
