[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can I use shortcode to get just information rather than a full gallery?

I’d like to create my own flash image gallery, but I really like the back end on NextGEN, is there a way to access just the information/image src urls rather than having it automatically put some gallery on the page?

Or do I need to figure out how to query the database itself…
