    Hi,

we have found another issue regarding the membership cancellation which is not being displayed on user account in frontend.

    The steps are:

1.user cancel the subscription from his account …/membership-account/membership-cancel/?levelstocancel=2

2.the subscription it is cancelled in backend but in frontend is not marked as cancelled. The user has the possibility to access again the link mentioned above and cancell again and again the membership.

The email with subscription cancelling ii has been sent.

We need to fix this error by displaying in user dashoard from frontend the information that his subscription has been cancelled or marked for cancellation, without having the possibility to click again the cancellation link.

    please help.

    thx

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

This is intentional as PMPro 3.0+ contains our built-in Cancel on Next Payment Date functionality.

This means that the member will maintain access until the next payment date, and only then will they lose access to the content on your site.

If you would like them to cancel and lose access immediately, please refer to the guide we have available at https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/immediate-cancellations/#h-the-code-recipe on how this can be achieved.

    Kind Regards,

    Perfect! The recipe is useful.

I meant, atfel cancelling a subscription to not display in frontend the Cancel button anymore, givving user the possibility to cancel same subscription again and again. A message like “your request to cancel this membership level has been registered and your subbrscription will end date.

Many thanks for your kind support.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear this has helped.

By default, if the Cancel on Next Payment Date is enabled, a member will have a notice shown on the cancel confirmation page confirming their expiration date (next payment date) and then show the next payment date in the expiration column on the Membership Account page.
