    Just updated to latest version on Updraft on couple of my sites.

    I noticed that now the UpdraftPlus menu in admin is on the root instead of Settings > UpdraftPlus

    Now the cosmetic issue is that when I go to other plugins pages in admin, I still see UpdraftPlus in browser title bar, instead of that plugin’s name. I think this is a minor bug, please look into it.

    Thanks.

    Can confirm this behavior; it overrides every other plugin’s own tab name, making it difficult to tell which tab to switch to. Minor, but actually very annoying! This may cause accessibility issues as well, which would bump it out of cosmetic territory.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue, the development team is able to reproduce this and is currently working on a fix. In the meantime, along with the new look of the UpdraftPlus menu on the left side panel, we also provide a constant where you can add it in your wp-config.php file to disable the top level menu and to switch back to our previous menu style.

    define('UPDRAFTPLUS_DISABLE_TOP_LEVEL_MENU_ENTRY', true);

    Thanks

    @slouchyflower @anthoniusalfred thanks for confirming. I will wait for the update. Can ignore it for few days rather changing my wp-config file.

    I can confirm I’m seeing this issue as well, searched for it on Google and found this post. Glad to see it’s a known bug and a fix is in the works.
