Tax settings disabled

    HI,

    In woocommerce settings, some of the tax settings are disabled and cant be changed.

    Options like “calculations based on” and “default tax class” are set but cant be changed.
    Am i missing a setting to enable these or somewhere else I have to look?

    Are you using any custom tax plugin?

    Hi, not that I’m aware of.

    I see “WooCommerce Shipping & Tax” installed but no settings to find for this.

    Although there is a field “automatic tax calculation” (first option) in the settings that is set to true, that might be it?

    (I’m using the dutch version so not sure if translation is 100%)

    try disabling the shipping and tax plugin if that enable the other options.

    I have checked out the first option “automated taxes” and now I can edit all.

    A different question maybe, how do I add a suffix to the shipping options in the cart/checkout?
    I would like to show the VAT cost there as well.

    I’m glad to hear that you were able to edit all the options after checking out the Automated taxes option.

    Did you try the price display suffix option? It might help. If not, then you need some custom coding. You can try using the woocommerce_cart_shipping_method_full_label filter.
