SEO Score Not Updating

    Hello @bhawneet

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. If the products were added before you installed Yoast SEO or were imported, there is no way to update the SEO/readability scores automatically. Sadly, you have to open up each product and update changes. Our analysis is performed in real-time, in the browser when you edit the product. Then, that score is transferred to the WordPress database. What’s in the DB is what’s shown in products overview page.

    ok does score makes any difference to actual SEO activity on google search, or score is just for me to see how my content is doing? Because what I am thinking is, if i do not click and update each product to update the score, it still satisfies my intent of using SEO services.

    Although our plugin shows an incorrect analysis report (SEO/readability scores), this does not affect how search engines crawl and analyze your site. Search engines process the front end of your site and will detect your content.

    Great, that is a relief, but it will be really great to have a an option to recalculate scores for all products! Anyways you are looking at the content in meta fields, so run that algorithm against the DB metadata fields and update the score in WordPress database based on that.
