Editable widget different for every post…

  • Hi,

    I was wondering if there was a way to add a widget which is different for every post.

    For example, say that I have a film review post, there would be a widget to the right called ‘Movie Facts’ which I can edit to put in the director, cast etc. etc…

  • You might want to look at using custom fields for the facts box.

    Or if you’re feeling adventurous, try custom taxonomies which will allow you to have archive pages for directors, etc.

    Just out of interest, can you explain the taxonomies thing to me a bit more clearly? I’m a bit dumb with wordpress hehe and after reading the taxonomy post, im none the wiser. ??
