I installed this plugin, went to settings and realized it would not do what I wanted so I immediately tried to deactivate it and it shaded and then froze my screen. After refreshing the browser I tried again and the same thing. I rebooted my computer and tried again and same thing. I then tried to check the box and delete it and it did the same thing. I have never had a plugin do this. I have installed, activated, deactivated, and deleted other plugins since encountering this issue with your plugin.

Beginning to wonder if this plugin is some kind of malware or something.

I would appreciate it if you would tell me how to delete this plugin!

    Thanks,
    Shawn

We truly apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Kindly be informed that, we haven’t added any special code for the deactivation or delete process, so this is definitely unusual. To help us better understand the issue and find a resolution, could you please enable the WordPress debug log and share the exact error message you’re getting? This will give us more insight into what might be causing the problem.

Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could raise a support ticket through our website.

    Thank you!

After much testing and checking the debug logs, I saw nothing showing in the logs. It makes no sense to me. For days I have tried numerous times to deactivate/delete your plugin with no luck. I tried again just now to Deactivate by clicking on the “Deactivate” link on the plugin page, below the name of the plugin but it just froze my screen again. I then tried to Delete it again by checking the box and choosing Delete from the bulk actions at the top of the page. Same thing happened.

Then I just happened to try and Deactivate it by checking the box and choosing Deactivate from the bulk actions at the top of the page, which I had not tried yet because I assumed it triggered the same action as the link does, but for some strange reason it WORKED. I then deleted it immediately.

I guess this is for others who may run into this issue down the road.

Unfortunately, we are not sure why this issue occurred; it seems quite unusual. None of our other customers have reported this problem.

We’re glad to hear that you were able to resolve it on your end.

    Thank you!
