We use your plugin with the php mailer and have Gravity Forms installed for multiple forms.

No problems in the past, but the last weeks emails are not deliverd wel.

Our hosting siteground did some investigation on this said the cause is ?us-ascii? added to the subject line.

Any idea how to solve this? Encoding issue

    Hi there @rolfvanes,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re looking into this, but if you can let us know more about what type of issue you’re running into, that should help. Specifically, if you can tell us if you’re seeing any errors or if something is happening to the emails on delivery, that should help assist our team in finding a solution for you.

    Thanks!

    Hi again @rolfvanes,

Could you also share an example of a broken subject line that includes “?us-ascii?”

Also, which version of WordPress are you using? And, if emails land in your inbox, could you try opening the same broken emails in different email clients (webmail, Outlook/Thunderbird/Appl Mail, etc) to see if the email is broken across the board?

    Thanks!

We changed to smtp and resend the emails and the issue is gone. Strange…
