When an oder is placed for a product that has a custom design the order show a link to download the custom design. However, that link is for a PNG file.

Product Designer documentations says that to get an SVG version go to the Orders tab in Product Designer’s admin panel. When we look there, there are no orders.

How do we get the designs in an vector format instead of png?

We submitted this question through the support page last week and have yet to get any kind of response.

Hello @petesalerno unfortunately if you have submitted a ticket with our team that runs that extension you have to wait for them. This forum is for WooCommerce core only.

I will say this though, if you are using the digital download side of Woo then you simply should be zipping your assets and serving them that way.

    Hi @petesalerno,

I take it you’re referring to this extension: https://woocommerce.com/products/kilb-product-designer/, correct? Since this relates to a premium extension, please get in touch with us directly via [WooCommerce.com → My Account → Support] for further help with this. As per the [forum guidelines], no support for premium extensions is provided here, but we will be happy to assist you further from there.

As I undertand you’ve already tried opening a ticket there, that extension is built by one of our commercial partners, please try reaching out to them again over tickets. If you don’t get a reply, please open a ticket using the following options:

Regarding the issue you’re facing, I’ve reviewed the documentation and found this:

Log in to the product designer backend again. Under “Ordered Designs” you will now find a new entry. Click the icon with the three dots to get more information about the design. You will be able to download an SVG or a serialized JSON export here. To generate a high resolution WebP you need to click the “Generate” button.

I understand this “Ordered Designs” option is missing for you? As a quick test, did you try with any other plugin except WooCommerce and this plugin enabled? If the issue persists that way, you’d need to get help through our private support channels to comply with the forum guidelines. Please try the methods described above.

    Thanks!
